Abstract
This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the factors contributing to aircraft accidents, with a specific focus on the role of human factors. It emphasizes the critical importance of identifying potential hazards to effectively prevent aircraft accidents and maintain a low accident rate. The analysis underscores that human factors often emerge as a primary area of concern. In the realm of civil aviation, a significant proportion of incidents continue to be rooted in human errors. These errors encompass various aspects, such as a lack of proficient interpersonal skills, misinterpretation of checklists, procedural lapses, and challenges related to situational awareness. Addressing these shortcomings becomes imperative to strengthen the overall aspect of human factors in aviation safety. In the contemporary aviation landscape, there is a considerable emphasis on optimizing the design of human-airplane interfaces. This entails refining the way humans interact with aircraft systems, thereby reducing the probability of errors and misunderstandings. Furthermore, this paper highlights the development of innovative training methodologies for both pilots and maintenance engineers. These training approaches aim to equip aviation professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage intricate situations and ensure secure operations effectively.
